PICTURES TELL A STORY...
All professionalism aside, I'll be the first to admit I'm probably one of a thousand photographers. My only claim to fame is my support of live music. I believe that bands should be promoted to their fullest (not the photographer). I've been chastised for buying tickets to shows instead of free media passes; but let's face it - freebies don't support musicians. It's a tough stance to take.
Thankfully, what comes around goes around - and the supported also support me. Toronto is a thriving music scene and I'm thankful to have taken part in it over the years.
My beginnings are humble. Manufacturing is my trade. Through a stroke of mixed good and bad luck I was able to take a course in Animation/Digital Arts. That's where it all started for me.
The best part of what I do is the great people I've met - the industry is full of fantastic people that let me in where normally you wouldn't be able to. Being a freelancer without accreditation is a difficult route. But I shoot for the musicians, and am proud that my photography has represented some of the best names in the industry. I'm very thankful that everyone has been there for me.
I still believe in the quote, "I don't care if you make more money than me. I'll still buy you a beer."

"...there's a long list of bands in the Toronto music scene... if I told you how many I've shot live we'd be here all night..."
